Satdip & Raunaq
An Epic Sikh Wedding Celebration | August 2025
Â
Satdip and Raunaq’s wedding celebrations were a beautiful reflection of love, family, and Sikh traditions brought to life through a multi-day celebration spanning all acrossSacramento. With over 800 guests attending their Anand Karaj at West Sacramento Sikh Temple, 700+ guests joining their reception at White Lotus Banquet Hall, and 600+ guests celebrating at their Jaggo at Grand Pavilion, their wedding brought together hundreds of family members, friends, and loved ones for an unforgettable series of events.
Â
From the very beginning, our team provided full-service wedding planning, guiding Satdip and Raunaq through every stage of the process. From venue scouting and developing their vendor team to managing logistics, refining timelines, and overseeing event-day execution, we approached each decision with intention, ensuring their celebrations reflected their vision, priorities, and the experience they wanted to create for their guests.
Â
Building the right vendor team was an important part of bringing their wedding to life. We provided comprehensive vendor recommendations, paying close attention to the unique needs of the couple and the individual requirements of each event. This included finding a media team that would best capture their celebration, ultimately leading us to Maiyan Studios, selecting Savi Decor for decor, and recommending BPR Crew for their Jaggo music - we knew they’d be the best fit creating the perfect blend of traditional sounds and high-energy music to keep the the dance floor packed!
With multiple venues, large guest counts, and several days of festivities, thoughtful planning and organization were essential.
We worked closely with each venue and vendor to navigate requirements, coordinate setup and breakdown logistics, manage timelines, and ensure every celebration flowed seamlessly into the next. From the grandeur of the Anand Karaj to the energy of the Jaggo and the elegance of the reception, each event was approached with its own personality while remaining part of a cohesive wedding experience.
Â
Our full-service, white-glove approach extended beyond the events themselves. We managed hotel room blocks to help accommodate traveling guests, curated the couple’s wedding website to keep important information organized and accessible, and arranged Uber codes to make guest transportation more convenient. These thoughtful details were designed to make the experience easier not only for Satdip and Raunaq, but also for the hundreds of people traveling to celebrate alongside them.
Â
Beyond the large-scale festivities, their wedding included smaller, more intimate gatherings at home. These personal celebrations created meaningful opportunities for family and loved ones to connect in a more relaxed setting. We ensured these moments received the same thoughtful attention as the larger events, recognizing that some of the most cherished memories are often made in the comfort of home. Small details like personalized fans, welcome bags and more awaited guests in the family’s home.Â
Â
Throughout the planning process, our priority was to ensure Satdip and Raunaq and their families felt completely supported. We managed vendor communications, coordinated the moving pieces across multiple locations, and handled the behind-the-scenes details so they could focus on what mattered most - celebrating their marriage and being present with the people they love.
Â
At Home In Stone Events, we understand that a large-scale Sikh wedding is about more than managing guest counts and timelines. It is about honoring traditions, bringing families together, and creating an experience that feels personal, meaningful, and welcoming for every guest. For Satdip and Raunaq, we were honored to provide full-service planning for a celebration that brought together culture, connection, and community on an extraordinary scale.
Â
The result was a vibrant, multi-day wedding celebration filled with cherished traditions, unforgettable music, meaningful family moments, and joyful gatherings — a beautiful beginning to Satdip and Raunaq’s next chapter, shared with the people who matter most.

LOVE NOTES
HIS Words
From our very first call with Raman, we immediately felt her warmth and how deeply she cares about her clients. We originally came to her for decor, but as we continued to work with Raman, it became clear just how much she cared and how thoughtful and consistent her attention to detail was, making it an easy decision to also bring her on as our planner and day-of coordinator.
Â
She worked with us tirelessly, giving us an incredible amount of personal attention to ensure not only that we were comfortable with our decor and timelines, but that both of our families were as well. She coordinated multiple site visits to make sure the venues, vendors, and our families were all aligned. There wasn't a single concern, big or small, that we brought to her that she didn't help us navigate with calmness and reassurance.
Â
When it came to decor, we came to her with countless ideas that changed constantly, and R&R helped us organize everything into a cohesive and realistic vision we were genuinely excited about. Raman suggested themes and ideas we never would have thought of on our own and was always transparent about what was and wasn't possible. In the end, the team exceeded our expectations across all of our events.
Â
The team also helped with custom items like signage and photos, picking everything up earlier in the week while setting up our home decor so we didn't have to think about a thing. Having R&R as both our decorator and planner made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free.
Â
We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Raman, Raveen, and the entire R&R team made our wedding experience beautiful, smooth, and unforgettable.
