Bay Area South Asian Wedding Planner | a note from Raman
LOVE NOTES
Thank you for visiting our little home on the web. I’m so glad you’re here, and I hope as you explore Home In Stone Events, you get a sense of the heart, intention, and care behind everything we do.

After more than a decade in the wedding and events industry and the privilege of being part of hundreds of celebrations, I can honestly say that I still love a good love story. It never gets old watching two people choose one another, seeing the kindness they share in the smallest moments, or witnessing the way a marriage brings two families together. Those quiet exchanges, proud parents, happy tears, and moments when everyone is simply present are the things that stay with me long after the last guest has gone home.

I genuinely love love. And I believe the most meaningful celebrations are about so much more than how a room looks or how a timeline unfolds. They’re about the people, the traditions, the relationships, and the memories being made. Whether we’re planning a multi-day South Asian wedding, an intimate cultural ceremony, or a celebration that brings different backgrounds and traditions together, I want every detail to feel intentional and every person to feel considered.

As a Bay Area wedding planner and co-founder of Home In Stone Events (HIS Events), I bring that same belief into the way we plan. My team and I work closely with our couples, their families, and their vendor teams to create a thoughtful, cohesive experience - from the earliest planning conversations to the final moments of the celebration. We understand that wedding planning can involve a lot of moving pieces, family perspectives, meaningful traditions, and decisions. Our role is to bring clarity to the process, care to the details, and calm to the moments when you need it most.

More than anything, I want you to feel supported. I want your families to feel taken care of. I want you to trust the people around you, enjoy the moments you’ve spent so much time preparing for, and look back on your wedding knowing you were truly there for it.

Because the goal has never been simply to plan a beautiful wedding. It’s to create an experience that feels like you - one where you can be a guest at your own celebration, surrounded by the people you love, fully present for the moments that matter most.

With love,
Raman

My Personality in a Nutshell
I’m an all-in-or-all-out kind of person. When something sparks my interest, I dive deep until it becomes my entire personality. That same energy shows up in my work: I care about the details, invest in the process, and give every celebration my full attention.
My Favorite Place to Travel
England will always feel like a second home. I grew up visiting my grandparents there, and I still love returning to London and Cheltenham, with the occasional weekend in Paris. Next on my list is exploring more of the English countryside—and I can’t wait to share these places with my little ones.
My Favorite Way to Unwind
Give me a binge-worthy TV show, a movie, or a limited series, and I’m happy. I’ve always been fascinated by entertainment production, and in another life, I think working behind the scenes in television could have been a pretty great career.
My Coffee Order
A caramel macchiato, hot or iced, will always have my heart. Lately, I’m loving a simple drip coffee at home with almond milk, creamer, and just the right mix. A good cup of coffee and a productive planning session - That’s my kind of morning.
What I Value Most:
Relationships. After more than a decade in the wedding and events industry, I’ve learned that the best celebrations are built on trust, communication, and collaboration. I want every event vendor, couple and family to feel heard, supported, and confident that the details are in thoughtful hands.
